Sisterhood is a very important part of being a Kappa Alpha Theta at Miami University. We believe it is the invisible ties between sisters that are the strongest bonds. We form these bonds throughout the year with sisterhood events. These events include a Halloween movie marathon, donut decorating, and a spring trivia cookout. The last Sunday before Thanksgiving, we host a Theta Thanksgiving feast, catered by Bob Evans. Each fall, the Gamma Upsilon chapter ventures to Butterfield Farms for apple picking, hay rides, and feeding cows!
Another way we like to bond as sisters is during Greek Week. Our team competes in various events, include Bandstand and Broomball.
